Revolution to Constitution! The World Turned Upside Down

Homework: Monday to Thursday 10/23-10/26
1. Individual homework assignment related to your essay: Due Wednesday with your first draft please.
2. Ensure that you have defined each of the terms from the last assignment page. I will be collecting these on Wednesday this week for a test grade.
3. Read the historiographic essay: “Whose Revolution” pp. 162-163 Pageant
4. then: create a list of historical positions concerning the causes of the Revolution including the name(s) of the historians and a brief definition of each position. This was due last week, but due to the cancelled class and the lab work on Thursday and Friday we didn’t discuss it in class. We will discuss this on Tuesday this week.
5. Read the summaries of chapters 9-10 and prepare answers to the questions provided with the chapter summaries.
6. Read the historiographic essay “The Constitution: Revolutionary or Counterrevolutionary?” p. 188 Pageant.
7. Answer the multiple choice questions from Amsco, chapters 5-6. Due Thursday.
8. Define the terms related to the Confederation and Constitution: Due Friday.
