1. “Progressive Era; 1901-1918” Define and evaluate the progressive era and the leaders of this era.
Complete the assignment(click on the title) to summarize the progressive movement and evaluate three presidents associated with the progressive era. The progressive movement is partly a response to the economic development and social developments of the late 1800’s. The progressives shared some of the concerns of the populists but were focused more broadly on social and cultural issues as well as economic issues that tended to dominate the populist agenda.
2. “The 1920’s” (Newman – blue book: chapter 23)
